Jim has over 17 years of experience as a bioanalytical scientist and senior manager in contract research services, including General Manager, Tandem Labs New England; founder and President of Charles River Proteomic Services and Senior Director, Bioanalysis at Charles River Laboratories and Primedica Corporation. Jim received his Ph.D. degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and MS and BS degrees from the University of Maryland at College Park.
Steve has over 17 years of experience in senior management positions at contract research laboratories, including Director of Sales at Advion Bioservices, Senior Director of Bioanalysis at Charles River Laboratories and Vice President Sales and Marketing at Taylor Technology. Steve received his MS and BS degrees from the University of Manchester, UK.
Peter is a General Partner at Ampersand Capital Partners and has over 15 years experience in life sciences management, including serving as CEO of Cohesive Technologies and President of Primedica Corporation. Earlier in his career he was a consultant at Bain & Company. Peter received his MS in management from MIT and his BS from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Rich has more than 25 years experience in quantitative analytical chemistry. Since 1995 his focus has been in regulated bioanalysis, and he has held operational roles of increasing responsibility in contract research organizations since that time. In addition to his regular responsibilities, Rich is a noted speaker and instructor at technical and regulatory bioanalysis conferences throughout North America and Asia. He also continues to serve as co-founder and instructor for the High Resolution Mass Spectrometry course at the American Society of Mass Spectrometry.
Brian has greater than 16 years as a bioanalytical scientist and operations manager, including Director of Bioanalytical Chemistry at Synta Pharmaceuticals, Associate Director of Bioanalysis at Charles River Laboratory and Project Scientist at Triangle Laboratories. Brian received his BS degree from the West Virginia University.
Xin has over 20 years experience in bioanalytical chemistry, protein chemistry, drug discovery and development. Most recently, Xin was the Laboratory Director at Tandem Labs where he managed the New England bioanalytical testing unit. Prior to Tandem Labs, he led the Discovery Bioanalysis Group at Charles River Laboratory and was a Staff Scientist at Maxygen. Xin received his BS degree in Physical Chemistry from Peking University, his MS in Organic Chemistry from Southern Illinois University and his Ph.D. from the University of Iowa.
Jen has over 10 years of experience working in GLP and GMP regulated laboratories, including Charles River Laboratories, Biovest International and Avatar Pharmaceuticals. Jen is a Registered Quality Assurance Professional in GLP (RQAP-GLP). She received her MS degree from Brown University.
Sean has 15 years of experience in in vivo research, including 10 years as a scientist at CBSET, Inc. and Charles River Laboratories, Inc. performing the role of Study Director in both discovery and development DMPK. Sean received his BS degree from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, MA.
Adrian has over 17 years experience in bioanalytical, drug discovery and assay development, including Principle Scientist of Immunobiology at Charles River Laboratories. Previous to CRL he was the Senior Investigator at ArQule, Inc., and prior to that he held the title of Senior Scientist at OsteoArthritis Sciences, Inc. Adrian received his BA degree in Biology from Harvard University and his Ph.D. from Boston University in Physiology.
Christine Alberta brings over 30 years of administrative experience areas of Human Resources, Benefits and Office Management and finance. She has been with Agilux since its inception in 2007 and is responsible for Human Resource Management. Prior to joining Agilux, she held positions at Charles River Laboratories, Worcester and Davis Companies, Marlboro.
